Anberlin - Enjoy The Silence

For today, I have this great cover of a beautiful song by one of my favorite bands Depeche Mode, the name of the song is Enjoy The Silence covered by Anberlin. Anberlin are from Florida, initially started as SaGoh 24/7 in the late 1990s released a couple of albums then disbanded to come back later as Anberlin. Enjoy The Silence has been covered by many bands and artists, from the likes of Tori Amos to Breaking Benjamin to It Dies Today, I like the cover done by Anberlin, in my opinion some made it too heavy while others stripped it of the melody that’s front and center in the original song but Anberlin kept the essence of the original song intact while adding the flavor of the era they cater to, after Anberlin I like the version done by Lacuna Coil, I think they also maintained the melody of the song and the female vocals add another dimension to the song.
