To roundup the week of the female power houses I have the perfect candidate in Janelle Monáe a Grammy nominated artist who hasn't found much commercial traction yet, I found her in the Sound Opinions show on the radio, I don’t think you’ll be able to find this much energy in such a small package anywhere else.
The song I’m recommending Come Alive (War Of The Roses) comes from her debut album The ArchAndroid, the range she has portrayed in this song is insane, the highs she has hit will definitely leave you with goose bumps, the guitar also compliments her very well in the song, she is signed up with Bad Boy Records I hope they don’t ruin her….
