The Dead Weather - Hang You From The Heavens

Alison Mosshart returns to fill today’s slot for the female power house with her super band The Dead Weather, just that her sound is more rock than pop. The Dead Weather came along when during a concert Jack White performing with his band The Raconteurs lost his voice, the band asked Mosshart to fill in who was scheduled to perform later with her band The Kills, she sang a couple of songs for them and later on Jack White invited her to record a song with him and Jack Lawrence (The Raconteurs, The Greenhornes), while in the studio they met Dean Fertita (Queens Of The Stone Age) and the rest as they say is history.
The song I’m recommending is their debut song Hang You From The Heavens, the song has Jack White written all over it, but Alison’s vocals add a new intensity, here’s the song
