Ok guys, continuing on the mellow melodious mood set by yesterday’s recommendation, today’s song comes from Northampton, England, by Vanessa Brown better known by her stage name VV Brown. Born to a Jamaican mother and a Puerto Rican father, took classical and jazz piano lessons, also masters trumpet and plays some other instruments as well. The song I’m recommending is Back In Time, it’s definitely not mellow but very melodious, it’s a sad tale of a troubled and confused heart, trying to break free from the shackles of the object of her affection, the vocals are strong, the lyrics are also good, most of all I like the retro sound of the song and the hints of Jamaican accent in between the chorus reverberations, here’s the song
