Love Grenades - Young Lovers (Sam Sparro Edit)

Today’s guilty pleasure again comes from Los Angeles, CA, by this dynamic three piece band, bent upon mixing disco, pop, electro and funk into this new sound which is equal parts fresh and equal parts unique. Fronted and founded by the beautiful Liz Wight they call themselves Love Grenades.
Discovered by the electro veteran Sam Sparro, who also remixed a couple of their songs, one of which I’m recommending today, Young Lovers is the track, I came across the remixed version first, probably that’s why I prefer it over the original, but honestly I think both versions are good and worth a listen,
I think the original version is more pop and the remixed version is more dance, heavily laden with bass full beats and an out of this world base line, geared more towards the club scene, nonetheless in both the versions her sultry soulful vocals are spot on and a treat to listen, here’s the song
