Tomoyasu Hotei - Battle Without Honor Or Humanity

This week I’m gonna dish out instrumentals and the first entry comes from Takasaki, Japan, by this Japanese living legend, he is a rock musician, an actor, he has recorded concertos, he has performed numerous scores for many famous movies, he is Tomoyasu Hotei.
The composition I’m recommending today was made famous worldwide by the Quentin Tarantino’s classic Kill Bill, it is Battle Without Honor Or Humanity. The version that was served up in Kill Bill is a truncated version, the original composition is more than six minute long, in fact it is an alternate version of " Shin Jinginaki Tatakai ", an instrumental piece by Tomoyasu Hotei, originally used in the 2000 film Another Battle (aka Shin Jinginaki Tatakai), in which Hotei also performed as an actor.
Like I mentioned there are quite a few versions available of this masterpiece, but I will give you this live version first, I think this performance does due justice to the awesomeness of this composition, there are so many variations in it, each one on par with the other and are so good that I never get tired of this one and keep hitting the repeat button, I can go on and on singing the accolades of this masterpiece but I guess it’s better you find them yourself

If you like to know more about him, here’s the link to his Wikipedia page
Here’s the alternate version used in Kill Bill
