For today’s recommendation our old friends from Los Angeles, CA, Great Northern are again lending us a hand. If you guys don’t remember them, they are a quartet from Los Angeles and primarily revolve around the talents of Solon Bixler, most famously the ex lead guitarist of Jared Leto’s band 30 Seconds to Mars and Rachel Stolte his old friend.
Today’s recommendation, Numbers comes from their second album Remind Me Where The Light Is, this song is a dreamy rock number which progresses so smoothly that it’s almost impossible to pinpoint where the song shifted the gears and morphed from this stoic song to a drum thumping rock number with the most beautiful and subtlest of riffs.
