For today’s recommendation again a band from one of my previous posts is coming back to help, it seems like this week is turning out to be the week of second comings, I’ll try to make it so let’s see how the week pans out. Anyhow today’s recommendation is from Oklahoma City, OK by the band Aranda.
If you guys don’t remember them, the two Aranda brothers started a band back in middle school under a different name, which led to the eventual formation of Aranda around the talents of the two brothers with Gabe on lead vocals and Dameon on guitars. They gained mainstream recognition when Kelly Clarkson covered their song All I Ever Wanted, which I have already recommended in one of my earlier posts and if you haven’t already, you can check it out from the link near the bottom of the page.
The song I’m recommending, Still In The Dark, comes from their self titled debut album Aranda. I love the slow acoustic start of the song and how it builds up to this aggressive crescendo in the chorus and then slows back down for the verses.
