Metric - Dead Disco

Continuing on with the second comings, today’s recommendation comes from Toronto, ON by the band Metric. I recommended one of their songs earlier before in one of my previous posts, if you haven’t had the chance to get to it, you can click on the link near the bottom of the page.
If you guys have forgotten about them Metric is a quartet originally from Toronto, ON but now they are kind of all over the place, huge in the indie scene they belt out Synth heavy Indie Rock numbers but also delve into Pop Rock and Alt. Rock. They are known to put up a rocking show so if they are in town I’d strongly recommend giving them a try, you won’t regret it.
The song I’m recommending, Dead Disco comes from their second album Old World Underground, Where Are You Now?, an upbeat danceable number moaning about the stagnant state of the music world and how today’s “Pop Stars” are just a replica of each other. I like the song overall but love the part when she sings LaLaLaLaLaLa La La La La, here’s the song
